Den Demokratiske Klima & Naturlov

Formålet med dette projekt er at bringe Danmarks nationale klima- og miljøindsats på linje med, hvad nødsituationen kræver. Vi har udviklet et udkast til et lovforslag, der omhandler/adresserer de klima- og økologiske kriser/problemstillinger, vi står over for i det nødvendige omfang. Lovforslaget vil også tage fat på de udemokratiske beslutningsprocesser, der i øjeblikket eksisterer. Vi sigter mod at samle en bred alliance af grupper og mennesker for i fællesskab at udøve politisk pres og yde den nødvendige støtte for at få dette lovforslag taget op i Folketinget.

Hvad gør DKNlov?

Den kræver, at statsministeren erklærer en økologisk og klimamæssig nødsituation, og er ansvarlig for at udarbejde og implementere en strategi for at imødegå denne.

Den opfordrer til, at der nedsættes et Borgerting, der skal træffe informerede beslutninger og rådgive miljøministeren om anbefalinger til strategien.

Den indeholder eksplicitte henvisninger til forbrugsemissioner og begrænser anvendelsen af ikke-dokumenterede teknologier i forbindelse med Danmarks klimaregnskab.

The purpose of this project is to bring national climate and environmental action in Denmark in line with what the emergency demands. We have developed a draft legal bill which addresses the climate and ecological crises we face to the extent needed. It will also address the undemocratic decision-making processes currently at play. We aim to bring together a broad alliance of groups and individuals to collectively apply political pressure and provide the support needed to get this bill into parliament.

What does the DKNlov do?

It requires the Minister for the Environment to declare a climate and ecological emergency and be responsible for drafting and implementing a strategy to address this.

It calls for the formation of a Citizens' Assembly to make informed decisions and advise the Minister for the Environment about recommendations for the strategy.

It explicitely includes consumption emissions and limits the use of unproven technologies into domestic climate accounting.
